More Videos or Less??

Like you, I've heard different pros and cons of both methods. Personally, I just upload whenever I can without exerting myself or failing to meet my commitments. I think it may be better posting at least once or a few times a day if you're looking to get more subs quickly but as far as views I guess it would make sense to post weekly to give people a chance to view/react to your newest video.

Whatever you are capable of doing! If you can make multiple videos a week that are up to par and you're ready for the challenge, go for it. I personally can't do that but it would be awesome if you could!

I usually do only 1 video per week but then again we do weekly challenges videos and I've gotten pretty good response to it now! So I'll keep at it!!!

I'm right there with ya! I do probably 1 per week, and promote it on my music pages on Facebook and all that jazz. Don't want to bombard people with tons of different videos at once. Then you just kinda get lost in the mix.
But keep at it! We're in this together!! ;)

You have some interesting vidoes, keep going girl! I think as long as ur consistent that's all that matters. if you have time to for 3-4 videos then thats better because it increases your chances of getting more audiences.

It depends I did a 2-3 video a week schedule but I found after a few weeks my content was being affected. I found I was uploading a video on a Tuesday not because I wanted to because I had to and I was just spending like 5 mins planning rather than a few hours planning them out. I think a schedules good for subs to know when your uploading but I think the quality of content can be affected by wanting to upload loads.

Well really i think you shouldn't upload too much if you can do it as your quality of videos will show in your videos, its better to be comfortable with what your doing and make it a schedule too, making schedules means your veiwers will know when to expect a video from you and will tune in to watch it because thats your schedule, when you don't have one, your viewers won't be checking up your channel every hour or day as it just doesn't happen, unless they really love you. But do it so you can handle it :)

I do have a schedule, & right now im taking a break from being a full on 9-5 work person personally i have all the time in the world. I mentioned in other posts what my schedule was & how i planned it all out :) I plan out on the weekends what i will be filming & what days i'll upload them so i'm never bombarded with stuff to do. & I always dedicate a whole day to filming so I can usually film one or two videos a day & upload those then have it on scheduled so i don't have to worry about it anymore.

In my experience, i've had people unsub from me not posting my regular schedule. When i went "missing" for a few days due to not being at home for awhile, people unsubbed more than i thought they would. I made up for it & my flow of subs came back again. So as i & a few other people have said, whatever works for your channel. Every channel is different, especially with content.

Yes too much content can overload some viewers but for me, for the youtubers i want, i wouldn't mind if they did more videos haha & there's also the good thing of more vids you have the better chance someone will look at it. After speaking to heaps of people about this i've come to the conclusion of you just have to balance it out & if it works out for your channel then don't change anything just because someone else's method works for theirs :)

I think that you should just upload as many as necessary. If you manage to make enough videos to upload consistently every few days then do it but if you find yourself just making videos for the sake of it then you should try to streamline it. So I suppose my answer would be to just make videos when you feel a topic deserves one and go from there.

I agree :) I find myself spending hours just to figure out what things i will film in the week & figure out how to do it, but it doesn't overwhelm me as much as people think. I have heaps of free time & i organize well (random fact of the day, i'm a qualified wedding planner so us planners have to be organized lol!)

I think just being able to deliver is great! I believe having a schedule helps, because it gets people excited for specific days/themes. "It's Tuesday, I can look forward to this video from ___ later!" So if you can incorporate them into a schedule that's good. I know of some tubers who record/edit all their videos A MONTH AHEAD OF TIME (supermaryface) which is crazy, then she releases them on specific days. :) I want to eventually adopt that style and get to where I post 2-3x a week. As long as quality doesn't suffer!
