I mean, I guess after a month from starting... I started on October 31 and I have 21 subscribers. Is this normal?

I've been on YouTube for about a month and a half... Only one outside subscriber so far so compared to that you're doing really well. I'd say you're actually off to a good start. Do it for a year and see where you stand then.

Depends on your content and the amount of promotion you do. My channel is a gaming channel and got about 70 subs over the course of three months. This was with zero promotion and about one or two videos a week. More videos and promotion helps a lot though. How many subs you will get is directly related to the amount of time you put into promoting your channel. You can have the best content on YouTube. Doesn't mean a thing if no one sees it.

LOL don't be discourage i have 3 subscribers haha (then again i just started) and you have creative thumbnails so i'm sure it'll catch the viewers eye

I had about 20 subscriebrs after a month, and now after about 2 months, I have 49 subscribers. Wha tI would not give for just one more.
