Hey all. I just had a thought...

I have a song I'd like to make a good video for, but I don't know when I'm going to get around to making one, and making videos isn't my speciality anyway. So I thought I'd drop a line and see if anyone would be interested in using the song in their own video, on their own channel.

To be clear I'd give anyone interested permission to use the song in their own video, and I'm not expecting anything in return. It would be cool if you would mention me as the writer/performer of the song, but I'm not super-worried about that. The song's copyrwrited so I'm not worried about it being stolen.

If you search "monster-proof blanket" at youtube it should show up as the first result. You'll see a video with a green monster and a non-smoking circle over it. This is just a simple video I created to share it.

If you're interested in using the song please message me and I'll get you an MP3 or WAV of the song. I'll be watching this thread as well.

I just saw this reply and thought I'd add a little more info. It's a rock song meant to be humorous, where the main character is a kid who's afraid of monsters, but has a "monster-proof" blanket. I've found it be a pretty universally liked song, I think mostly because it's funny and something most people can relate to.

I think you could have a lot of fun making a video for it.

OK, another update. I made the MP3 for this song downloadable on my Reverbnation Page, which is listed on my profile. If you'd like to make a video feel free to download the song and do it. It would be cool if you could let me know when you're done with the video.
