Monetising videos.

So if you aren't a partner is it work monetising my video? If so what does it do?

I've monetised most of my videos but I haven't noticed any change and have no idea what it actually does?!

You do have an Adsense account?
If you don't you won't get any money. Instead all that money will be going to Google.

If you have an AdSense account, link it to your youtube account.
Then go to video manager an enable monetization.

I don't have one yet because I'm not 18 yet and no one else will let me do it through them

Monetising your videos, places ads on them. So when people view/click on them on your video, you get paid a small amount for it, this then goes into an AdSense account

Oh, they you may very well not see anything changing. You might not even need to monetise then as your not gaining anything and its only Google taking the money

Oh dear, you'll need to get your gradient or an 18 plus someone to set one up for you until you hit 18.

I didn't expect to be because I know I cant get paid from it until I'm 18 i just wondered if monetising does anything other than that?
