I've had this problem on a few of my videos, where I have used a Creative commons song and it gets claimed. Im new to this and don't quite understand it yet. Trying to figure it out. I do monetize.

We're both on the right site then, as if i hadn't found this, I'd have probably taken the video down, re edit without any music just to be on the safe side

I agree with what @Sin B has written in this thread, but what I will say is:

one reason this happens is because whenever someone puts out music that is creative commons, that doesn't stop people from using that in another work and then submitting that to the content ID system. This should NOT happen, but it's not really something that YouTube can prevent very easily.
