Missing Files Final Cut Pro x

Hello,

I am mystified of what is going on with my Final Cut Pro. Current version is 10.2.3

Well today, I filmed a video; and I was filming it on my memory card that I remove from my Canon Ti5 Rebel and than pop it into the side of my mac. I have tried to upload the footage into iMovie which it also doesn't work. In the past I have tried to upload it to iMovie and than copy and paste it into FCP. (Last time this worked well)

Do I have a corrupt memory card?

Any advice?

Does your SD card show up in Finder under "Devices?" You may need to reboot if it is not showing up. Once it shows up, you can navigate to your footage and drag it into Final Cut's timeline to edit. If the footage doesn't appear on the card when you browse to the specific folder, then it's most likely lost.. =(
 
I just put the SD card in and its not showing up in finder. But if I go to "Photos" it's still there and its still in Final Cut Pro. Mind you this after I restarted the entire laptop. .
