Misleading Titles...... *sigh

I rarely ever get annoyed on YouTube... I have come to expect "cray cray" to show its face from time to time...
One thing that upsets me is misleading titles.

People taking advantage of stigmas/popular vids/rage/excitement to get clicks only to disappoint me with the video. I sometimes want to leave a comment stating my rage! Then I decide not to and just stop watching that person altogether.

What are your thoughts on our responsibility as viewers to call out this mess?

Doesn't this just grind your gears?

i know what you mean it happens everywhere not just in youtube. when a game comes out like alien predator many thought it was a shooter game, well that was misleading. a book with good title, that was also misleading, and more.

You are so right. It is all over the place! RAGE RAGE RAGE RAGE RAGE LOL.

When the thumbnail, title, description or tags do not match the video, I flag the video and report them.
Haha, you're doing a right action :) But do you think Youtube gonna delete it? (well unless it's a sexual content but how about the other content with misleading title as gaming)

I don't follow up on most of them. If it involves my videos where they are using my tags, my channel name, my description and titles, I definitely follow up.

i've only seen vloggers do that. but really... when its nothing specific and you vlog your day you'll name your vlog whatever sounds catchy and clickable if you're a youtuber ofcourse you want ppl to see your stuff. as far as i've seen ppl name it misleading even thought it relates a little to a small portion of the video. i'm neutral about it
