How many have heard that YouTube Star Miranda Sings is getting her own NetFlix show? Do you think that's good? Will you watch it?

It is great for her. Netflix is finally in Japan and I have binged rewatched Kimmy Schmidt , and arrested development and so many movies XD I'd love to watch it but it seems we do have the same progamm on Netflix Japan, only some (too bad cause I have French I'd love to access all the library)

Didn't know and do not intend to watch her. Unless she gets goos script writers it will be a waste of netflix resources.

I really hope it succeeds even though I don't watch her channel, if one YouTuber succeeds outside of YouTube, it's good for the rest of us!

Anything that puts YouTube into "mainstream" media has to be a good thing.

I think it's pretty funny how many wannabe YouTubers don't get it that "Miranda Sings" is in fact a fictional character that is a parody of themselves.

Why does this happen to Big Youtubers so BIG that I never heard of em... I almost thought you were talking about Miranda Cosgrove.

She is not my cup of tea but i'm shocked that you havn't come across or heard of Miranda sings / coleen before :O

I think it's fantastic that "legitimate" production companies are starting to look to YouTube for content, because there is a huge amount of talent there waiting to be plucked. However, I hope they tweak her content just a bit, because I worry that it might fall into the Grace Helbig trap, where they just try to recreate what happens in short videos into a longer format, and that doesn't quite work as well as it could.

That is great for her! It is an exciting time to be a YouTuber. Hopefully this is the first of many things to happen for YouTubers and bring their content to outlets such as Netflix.
