Minor sub drop :/

Brenden

Message me if you need anything :)
So I recently hit a solid 7 subs, 3 from my goal, and was getting comments :D Then, I saw one subscriber un-sub, then another. Now i'm down to 5 :(

I think it is because of my new series on my channel. Some people might find it offensive. I gained subs from my first series, and I found that shortly after posting my first video of the series, I lost the subs. Though,I also got good feedback on it, and no dislikes on any of the videos . So, i'm conflicted. Cancel the series, or keep going with it. I always want to make my subscribers happy, and if the show is making them leave, I'm not going to keep doing it.

I think everyone encounters this Problem, I have recently, I've been stuck on about 630 subs it goes up then back down and it is quite annoying but unfortunately we just have to keep on going
Good luck reaching your goals

I hit 100 subs 3 times before I stayed above 100.

Yeah, I feel you man. I also get pretty discouraged when I lose a sub or two but you can't take it to heart too much. Just continue doing what you enjoy doing and the right audience will find you.

People subbing then unsubbing is pretty normal. Don't stress it. Until you get to 500 plus subs you'll have days where you gain a few and days where you might loose one or two. Normal growing pains. You'll be fine.

Yea I wouldn't worry about it. It feels brutal as hell when it's in such small numbers, but it's the way it goes. Big Youtubers can lose THOUSANDS of subs in a day. Can you imagine what that would feel like if you cared and were worried about it?

When I hit 50 I lost a handful of subs, then hit it again and lost some more. My analytics say I've lost 11 subs since I started (hit 60 today, yay!). That's like 18% subscriber loss. It sounds awful when you consider it that way, like almost one out of 5 people doesn't want to stay subbed to me. But you just can't worry too much about it. As long as you keep on a positive trend over time (like months, not days) it's all good.

Plus, you have to consider a lot of variables as well. Maybe they got fed up with G+ and deleted their account. Maybe they made a new account but just haven't re-subbed yet. Or maybe your channel just didn't turn out to be exactly what they expected or wanted. All of that is totally fine. You really only want people to sub if they really want to watch your content. Dead subs is a much worse feeling than leaving ones.

Don't worry about it man, it happens! Honestly it's better to have subs that stick around and watch your stuff than to have them contribute to an arbitrary number in the sense that they aren't actually doing anything for your channel if they're subscribed and not watching your videos.

I'm having the exact same problem right now! It's kinda sad seeing them leave but I guess it's okie. Just keep moving on and more people will come! :)
