yeahor some reason i am having trouble uploading in hd I render the video through sony vegas and when i upload it to youtube it only gives me the option for 360 but it looks 720 im so confused

The rule for this is: Wait.

YouTube processes the lower resolutions first and puts the video online ASAP (meaning that it may not have 720 and 1080p up but it does have 360p). YT does this because, well, it gets the videos up and active faster which means people can watch them sooner--and crunching the videos at 720/1080p HD takes a little bit longer.
