Hey guys, I was just wondering.. Is a built in mic good enough for recording or would it just be too irritating to listen to?

Do either of you know if it's possible to use my samsung galaxy s3 for either audio or video recording (skype preferrably)?

A built mic are very scratchy and loud due to the fans. If you spend the money get a professional mic I ended up getting a blue yeti which is what I use on my videos if you can't spend a lot atleast try to get a high end or gaming mic

I'd imagine you could get a cheap but decent headset for about 25 bucks if you can't afford some studio quality ultradocious microphone

I use a built in mic and the quality is excellent. The only problem with my audio is when I get loud, the sound gets distorted so i'm getting a Yeti. But if i'm talking in a normal tone, you couldn't tell I was speaking into my computer.

I used to use the Logitech USB headset for voice overs and I think the audio was pretty clear. It works with Skype and you can record the and any audio recording software you use.

It's not optimal but it would be better than built in.. what do you guys think about using a Sportzbeatz Halo headset?
