Microphones!

hey guys, was wondering which microphone would be good for skits? the ones that doesnt show on camera but you want better audio quality >.< when filming a scene.
 
See, I use a razor kraken for my gaming videos. I doubt that will be much help for you. There are some good microphones out there. Try taking a look at the Blue snowball mic, that would be great for starting off. You could attach it to a mic stick (not sure of official name) and way you go. If you are more serious about it try a blue yeti. It is very expensive but you do get what you pay for. Very good quality from all the reviews i have read.
 
Probably a shotgun microphone will do the trick. There's a good guide on the forum in the topic of micrpophones, and many users that do similar content can lend a hand.
 
I actually do have a shotgun mic but it doesnt attach to my vixia hf r500 camcorder, needs like a hotshoe adapter or something and couldnt find any guide for that. Is there a mic thats good without attaching to camcorder or a mic that does attach to the vixia hfr500?
 
Could record the audio with a phone maybe?

I remember looking for lepelle mics and they were expensive and hard to find...
