See, I use a razor kraken for my gaming videos. I doubt that will be much help for you. There are some good microphones out there. Try taking a look at the Blue snowball mic, that would be great for starting off. You could attach it to a mic stick (not sure of official name) and way you go. If you are more serious about it try a blue yeti. It is very expensive but you do get what you pay for. Very good quality from all the reviews i have read.
