Microphone?

I am currently using an unknown headset and to be honest it sucks. but I have been looking at the new snowball mic and it looks pretty good. I have a couple questions though, hows the quality on the mic? does it pick up background noise? thank you for the help and have a great day

it mostly depends on what kind of quality you're after and how much money you wanna spend. I use the samson go mic mostly because of the quality/portable ratio. The mic thats best is the one you have with you, amirite or amirite? if you are just gonna have it on your desk and could spend some more money then do it :)

I use a samson go microphone, it's very very small... about, 2-3 inches tall. it can literally fit in your pocket! it has 3 options, and it's very clear and crisp.The best part is, IT'S PORTABLE. ;)
 
I use a Blue Snowball. The Blue Snowball is a stand-up mic with a mini tri-pod. The mic has three different settings. The first setting only hears what is in front of it, and close. The third setting puts the noise go -10db. The third hears everything from quite a far distance. I use it in all my videos and the sound quality is great, with no background noise! (unless you want the noise) It only cost me $60 on Amazon.
