Microphone Suggestions?

It's not because cheap gear works that you should only satisfy with cheap gear ^^
Pretty much, ^this.

You should NEVER settle for anything less than your best. And how can you possibly reach your best, if shoddy hardware is holding you back?

My friend has a blue snowball and absolutely loves it. Sometimes we game in the same room side by side and it picks up both of our voices as if we were using skype

when i first started YouTube i always had my microphone recording software and knowledge of producing from making music for a bit. I use a MXL V67G and i also have a M-Audio midi with Pro Tools. Now i don't use protool for recording cuz protools renders the song by playing it back

But as i said before in another thread. The blue yeti is a substantial difference in quality compared to the snowball and the extra feature make it worth spending a little more.

I have an Audio Technica ATR- 2500, and I love it. For it's price it has great sound quality and has a headphone jack and volume adjuster. It comes with a cheap mic stand, but after you buy the mic you will surely have enough to get a good table top mic stand and pop filter.

Seems like this exact thread title comes up every day in a new thread. If people would just search before asking questions they would find their answer faster, than by waiting for people to respond. I dont know how many microphone suggestion threads there are on here.....
