I am making pokemon fact and tutorial videos right now. I don't have the best mic, and I'm looking to get a new one. My budget is up to $100. Do you have any suggestions for good quality recording microphones?
Thanks. I'll take a look at it.I use a Blue Snowball. It's cheap but has extreme quality. I notice a lot of big YouTubers use it too, as I see it in the background of their videos. (There aren't too many mics shaped like giant-a** snowballs.) I just bought the Blue Yeti, which is also less than $100 (typically) and is the step above the Snowball.
Microphones by the company Blue are just great.
It's not because cheap gear works that you should only satisfy with cheap gear ^^You dont need an expensive mic, i use a mic that was in the 2007ish rockband set.
I just put some socks over it to enhance the quality, works fine for me.
