Microphone Suggestions?

I am making pokemon fact and tutorial videos right now. I don't have the best mic, and I'm looking to get a new one. My budget is up to $100. Do you have any suggestions for good quality recording microphones?

I use a Blue Snowball. It's cheap but has extreme quality. I notice a lot of big YouTubers use it too, as I see it in the background of their videos. (There aren't too many mics shaped like giant-a** snowballs.) I just bought the Blue Yeti, which is also less than $100 (typically) and is the step above the Snowball.
Microphones by the company Blue are just great.

Thanks. I'll take a look at it.

MY EXPERTISE RIGHT HERE. Lol. Sorry I'm just big into audio production.

Screw the Blue Snowball. Go for a Blue Yeti for $50 more and A BUTT LOAD OF BETTER QUALITY.

If you want to go crazy all out, look into MXL or other things made by Blue like the Blue Bluebird Microphone. But for those you would also need an audio mixer because those aren't USB microphones. So, you'd also need an M-Audio Mixer.

You know what? Just go with a Blue Yeti for a first step. Then, see where that leads you in the future.

Do a search on these forums, there's loads of threads on this with lots of good advice. Good luck :)

You dont need an expensive mic, i use a mic that was in the 2007ish rockband set.
I just put some socks over it to enhance the quality, works fine for me.

If you're strapped for cash, I hear the Blue Snowball is pretty good, for it's price.
If cash isn't an issue, I suggest the Yeti.

I'm currently saving up for the Yeti, and am stuck using a PSEYE webcam. It's really, really good, actually. Not amazing, but I only paid 5 bucks for it, and it's much better than I expected (I got it for Fight Night, and nothing else, I just gradually moved into recording).

It's not because cheap gear works that you should only satisfy with cheap gear ^^
