Audacity is good for minor adjustments, but it`s mostly up to your mic.

If you're getting hissing or feedback you need a better microphone. Adjusting noise reduction in editing will only decrease the quality of your voice. What mic do you use?

it is usually the quality of the mic or it has too high Db

If you can afford Adobe Audition,that's an awesome software for audio editing. I have a really s****y mic,but Audition removes the annoying static perfectly.
