Dont blame the guy for looking for people near his level. It is obviously fun playing with people but if they have a small sub base and he dosent he has nothing to really gain from the partnership. Fun sure, but not really gunna help out his channel.

If I saw someone with 50 subs and LOVED there content, I would advertise them in a heartbeat. But at that point it's not a collab, it's just me advertising someone because I really enjoy there content.

You're right. But channels with 5K subs can give you those. So you go from 30K to 35K. That's pretty good. Obviously not everyone will come to you, it's in theory

I could probably get 100 subscribers if I did a collab with a channel with 5k subs.
