Mass Channel Promotion!

That's a good point so why is the share video feature there? Whats it used for?[DOUBLEPOST=1394771376,1394771338][/DOUBLEPOST]
Well that makes sense too.

I'm honestly unsure, but it's sure as hell not meant for spam. Let me quote you a little something from the YouTube ToS...

  • Everyone hates spam. Don’t create misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails in order to increase views. It's not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages.

If someone comments on my video or tweets me with "Hey man, you should check this game out ____" then yeah, I probably would.

But if someone starts spamming me with their videos & channel then I won't.
Quick question. How are you getting so many views on your vids in a day. You have 120% Subscriber action. You get a lot of views in the first 20 hours not many comments but a good amount of views compared to your subscriber base. Can you offer any pointers?

The comment/views thing is because a lot of my viewers are just that, viewers. They watch the video, enjoy it, and move it.

Only pointers I have are make good content. Haha.

I seen that. All my vids are good descriptions, Actual thumbnails from the game, Tags and titles are all relevant. My target audience is gamers, I don't send copied private messages or comments. Now I don't know about if its unwanted until they say so. lol I wouldn't send the samething over and over again to one person. I can see that maybe this isn't the best way though. Im sure that if the channel started to grow fast then I would still do it because you cant argue over results. lol

All I can think of is going to other forums that are somewhat centered around the content you produce. You know, as long as they don't have a rule about advertising your content and you don't just go on the forums to spam only your videos. Either that or try FunnyJunk. Someone recommended that a long time ago but it mostly just gives you only views.

You may grow fast, but you won't grow well. I have a friend who does that all the time, and he has about 10 times the amount of subs as me. The sad part is, I still get more views and active subscribers. He used to have a channel with 3,000 subscribers, hardly broke 10 views when he uploaded... It is not a good idea to spam like that.

Edit: Also, with what you want to do, it will have to be copied messages. Otherwise, you'd have to write individual messages for each channel...

Thanks Snow. :)

Good descriptions? 40 lines of "Extra Tags" isn't a SEO friendly description.

I figured something like that would happen just didn't know it would be that drastic. I had a vid that reached 30k views and I gained about 400 subs from that vid but it was a tutorial on a headset with the ps4. Most of those subs don't watch my gameplay because that's not why they subbed in the first place but 10 to 25% of them do so I still count it as a win. I most likely wont do it though because if its not free its not worth it. Unless its adsense.[DOUBLEPOST=1394772576,1394772453][/DOUBLEPOST]

You would be surprised how good it works though. If top youtube gamers are doing it then I cant put it past myself to do the same. If you want to be big you have to see what the ones who are at the top are doing it and adapt their stratagies too right?

If your only interest is getting big, then prepare for disappointment.
