Mandatory OneChannel date predictions?

I've been looking around for some definitive date for the permanent Onechannel layout switch-over for the people who are still clinging on to the old layout. When will this be? I read rumors saying it will be by the end of this month.

Do you think the really big name Youtubers could opt out of the change? Roosterteeth's new side channel for their Let's Plays has an excellent old-layout design, so I fail to see why they'd put so much effort if the layout change was impending and inevitable.

It is probably being left up to Shane to decide.. He controls it all.. at least that is what he told me.
