Anyways,I have a few viral videos but not the virals viral you say, like 20k views, etc,
Are viral videos views random or is it earned? Because those are the things that are supporting my channel.
If you don't understand xD
It means do viral videos occur naturally?

Thanks :)

It can be random, but it's also to do with the video so it's a bit of both, it requires a few people for it to become viral. In phsycology if someone sees something they think someone they know might benifit or enjoy it they are going to want to tell them, such as what does the fox say was weird and funny so people wanted to show it to each other and so it spread like a plague ;)

One method that seems to work.. which I think although in ways good is kinda bad.

Make a video of you giving food or a sizable amount of money to homeless people.. that seems to be were the pranksters have all gone.

I think it's great that more and more people are starting to help the homeless. I don't care if they're doing it for views, they're still doing it.

Maybe.. What I don't like is the fact that say VitalyzdTV.. He gives say like $200 on a video that will easily gross him $5,000-$10,000.

As I said, it's good and bad.
Him in particular really pushes it, some other channels spend 75%+ of what the video will make on the video.

I agree with you here.. I've seen people giving away like £5 on a video which made them like £1000 in ads.. It's kind of disgusting tbh... and then they will have earned even more money off people checking out their other videos.

There was that really nice guy who recorded a street musician and uploaded it to youtube then went back and gave the guy all the money the video earned, he then set up a youtube account for the man as well, that's what I think people should do. If you make money off a video about giving a homeless person something, you should go back to that homeless personal and give them ALL the money you made posting that video. In return you've got yourself a few subscribers.. It's a fair trade when you think about it.

When people do things like this, I share it on Facebook, Twitter, email, text, etc. When something is funny or awesome, everyone will share, and the video will spread

A video is considered viral if it has a lot of shares. Views alone don't make a viral video. If you had 10 million subscribers and a recent upload got to 2 million views very quickly, that could actually just be normal subscriber activity and it might not be viral. You need a significant portion of your views to come from sharing, which usually results in a fairly high view count. In looking at your top two viewed videos, they have a very low number of shares. It appears your videos got to their respective view counts because of tentpoling-in other words, you did a video on a subject that was popular at the time, so it got extra traffic. If you look through your analytics, you'll probably find that the views didn't come through shares or the subscriber feed, but via youtube and google search. If you want to repeat this formula, make videos around things that are trending/relevant.

I see thanks for that :)
