making Good Thumbnails-What Software Do You Guys Use

different photos with out squares/colors from the other photo

Paint.NET is what I use. You can add plugins and is very good considering its free.

I used photoshop, but before that I used a program called Paint.net you don't need the best to make good thumbnails, you just need a creative idea

I usually use pixl editor to start with, then use google drawings to put the text over it. Then I use MS paint to resize it before uploading the final copy to the video.

I Know you don't use Photoshop, Buuuut I use photoshop elements a slightly simplified version that has all the essentials. It wasn't too pricey and honestly easy to get the hang off, and great for editing pics for my tumbnails and stills in my videos.

Adobe Photoshop after using Paint.Net for a long time... Paint.net is a very good easy free program to begin with...
