Making Gaming Videos People Will ACTUALLY Watch!

Thank you for taking the time in making the thread. It will certainly help.

I've got a few ideas on videos I'd like to make but unfortunately my Exam are limiting my time. They'll be over soon.....for this semester. Biggest reason I started my channel is because I want to have fun in doing it. I mean, if you don't enjoy it then there is no real point.
I'm glad you appreciate it and and, oh man, exams, I hear you. Got mine in a week
Good luck! :D

Ya this is a pretty interesting thread and I agree that there are a lot of people doing lets plays and walkthroughs which makes the niche very saturated. On the plus side though as you mentioned there are many different things you can do in order to make your content a little bit more unique then the usual lets play. For me, I am starting a series with my friend called versus and inbetween though I do commentaries and lets plays.

It seems to be working so far and tutorials and help videos are great. Honestly though, at the end of the day you should do whatever you like and love doing!

^Completely agree with this.
haha and yeah this thread has escalated a tad :')

Do them well and showcase everything someone looking to download the mod would want to see, maybe even a separate video for installation.

I'm glad I'm doing goat simulator mods as a weekly thing and I always put the mod links in the description and even telling the mod author about it. Again thanks for the ideas and hopefully this really helps!

I love your advice kiddo. You are definitely someone I would want to collaborate with If I had a good enough PC to record and render with. However I have all my own original and creative gaming video concepts and they incorporate some of what you are talking about. Anyway. I have taken a look at your channel and the only thing I didn't like seeing was all the Minecraft. I think you have a lot of potential as a Gamer in the YouTube Gaming Community. I would just like to see a larger variety of games. Kudos to you for giving advice and helping others because god knows I keep all my YouTube Ideas and Secrets to myself.

Thanks man I just love being able to help out smaller YouTubers.
As for Minecraft, I would LOVE, and I mean LOVE to do other games, but unfortunately I just don't have the pc specs to run anything better than Minecraft.

My friend and other member of my channel has a great pc, but he gets much less time than I do for vids.

How are the mod videos going? I know people LOVED goat simulator when I did a couple videos way back when it first came out :p. You actually got me thinking about doing some haha.

It's a bit hard since there aren't many mods at the steam workshop for goat simulator. That's why I always give it a week. :)

When I watch peoples gaming videos, all i ever think about is how i would cut out about 90%-98% of the content. I think's that's just my style though which is probably why I don't do gaming. If it isnt a punch line or something that is informative to the context of the video, I never see the point of it.

Exactly my point!
One of the reasons I'm only subscribed to about 2 or 3 gaming channels is because the majority of them are just let's plays.
