making custom sounds?

Asking because as I have the resources to do so, I wonder of it would give my videos that special something if they had more than the generic stuff you find on the internet

It depends, just like standard sound effects? Honestly, it's good to make them custom if you can't find anything similar on the internet, but not everyone can tell if you just took something online
