Yeah, how dare graphic designers want to charge their customers for their services! They should do it out of love!

That goes for mechanics, chefs and musicians too.
 
I do agree that everyone helping each other with no strings attached would be amazing. I do feel it is within each person's right to charge what the deem necessary for their services. However, charging for information is a bit ludicrous especially when a search on Google could end up providing many answers for free.

i get most of what you are saying but, based on your response of "but expecting everyone to be 'friends' and not want money", you didnt fully read what i said, i clearly stated, if it would take up your time, you have all rights to charge but it was geared to the "Template" users, they know who they are, i wont say any names, the "Re users", they know who they are, blah blah blah, the main point of this thread was just the title, In short at least. Many who come on here believe this forum is "The spam spot", post your video, idea and leave, forcing many to see said post, when in fact it's suppose to be a gathering spot to either have debates on topics, maybe find collabs, or even do what i do "Be here", i seriously have no plausible gain from what i post on here, as many have noticed XD.
 
I don't see a problem with us all sharing tips with each other. I think that is kinda the point of this forum. I also think I have made some friends here. But @ToxicSludge is my guy for graphics and I will gladly pay that man every time. I think we are friends to. :P

I dont know you guys, i wont pretend to know you guys, i am just some guy, certainly not youtube famous, be it as it may that 2 of my best friends are youtube famous i do not use them in any way other than for conversations about nonsense, some of you know who they are but i will say no names.

As of late, i have realized, if i had more time to just work on youtubing i could literally do what ever i want because of my friends...hopefully you soon will be able to say the same.
