Make commentary sound better without spending much (or anything)?

Agreeing with Scobalula, using the internal mic of your computer does give you not only clicks from the keyboard but humming from the computer cooling fan and various other sounds you might not want in there.

I watched some of your videos and I got to say I don't think you have a big problem with the audio. There's no problem hearing what you're saying and the keyboard doesn't disturb too much, however it wouldn't be a mistake to buy a USB microphone such as Blue Yeti, Snowball or the one Scubaluba recommended. It will help you isolate your voice from background noises and probably give your voice a warmer, softer touch. An audiophile like myself would really appreciate it.

Thanks :p

You can use Audacity its best for recording i use it too and you have an option for "noise removal" and it makes it smoother but you can make your mic sound better from your pc if you go to sound>recording and then select your mic and put the value to studio quality instead of CD or DVD

The internal mic is not the way to go, bro. First off, use Audacity to fix your audio and make it 10x better. In fact, you could use a $20 mic and get away with it by using Audacity.

If you have an iDevice or an Android, I made a tutorial on using that as a mic. It actually is very good quality - check out my videos for examples. Anyways, here is my guide: http://yttalk.com/threads/have-an-idevice-need-a-good-free-mic-read-this.104932/

Hope this post was helpful. :)
