Make commentary sound better without spending much (or anything)?

So if you watch nearly any of my videos wearing earphones i realised you can hear lots of clicks and background noise. It doesn't really seem to be a big problem but is there anyway to fix it. Anyone can recommend a cheap mic or is it worth even buying one at this stage in my YouTube (doubt it). Also does anyone know like a voice-changer or autotune thing which is good and hopefully free?

I personally would save the money for a good 50 dollar mic. I know that is a lot, but if you are serious about youtube, than yu should definitely consider buying good, quality equipment for your channel

If you have audacity there's a few tricks to get those out. I don't know how much you edit your sound after you're done, but I've been able to get very good results with a cheap mic before I eventually upgraded.

What mic do you use and where is it positioned? Audio editing doesn't help very much with clicks.

I shuda mentioned im using the stock built in mic inside the laptop.

Well there's the problem, since the mic is built into the laptop it's picking up those clicks from your keyboard and mouse because the vibrations made goe through the laptop and to the mic. You'd be better off getting an external mic for 50-80 dollars. :)

I started using Audacity to record my voice in there and the game audio with Fraps. Then I just do noise removal for my voice in Audacity. And so far I love it! Try it and see if you like it if not then a good mic might be better. Sorry I was not much help. Good luck :D
