Machinima Network.

If most people say Machinima is a bad network to partner with, and they pay horribly, why are so many big youtubers, and small, but fast growing YouTubers partnered with Machinima?

If it was really bad, nobody would partner with machinima, but all of the channels around 200,000 subscribers, are partnered with machinima, so obviously they think they are a good network to go with. :)

What do you think about Machinima?
Why do you think these YouTubers are partnering with them? They are succeeding.

I was partnered with Machinima and i know a lot of people that used to be, and that's all i'll say in that area as i know more but can't. I think Machinima used to be a company of pride and that people were proud to be a part of, hopefully they can regain that position.

Pretty much an explination of why a lot of people don't like joining them anymore lol I read in an article that Nanners was thinking of leaving them but not sure about how that went. It's like they just sign people over and toss them aside, but then again a lot of networks do that, but I remember people talking about Machinima like they were the top dogs, not anymore.

To OP: Of course the bigger YouTubers have a higher chance of sticking around because Machinima would look after them more. I personally think all networks are pretty much useless at this stage although I really need to find 1 that suits me soon which is hard since I don't have much to offer and don't want to join for nothing but a dashboard or access to secret society forums for a community and support that I can get here anyways. It would be nice to join Polaris someday though, I actually haven't heard a single bad thing about them (yet) but their requirements to join seem high, as I haven't seen anyone below 20k subs in their list. I guess it [also] all depends on the partner manager you're assigned, if you're assigned 1 that is, some could be dedicated some might not. StoneMountain64 is with Machinima and he seems to like them a lot. So are 2BFP and Machinima basically headhunted them back then.

Machinima went down hill mid-late 2011, when most of those channels were already with them on 3-5 year contracts.

The reason for this seemed to be the contract changes that happen on that year which meant that all partners which were on
2-3$ per 1000 total (not only monetized) views were transferred onto 60-85% revshares.[DOUBLEPOST=1390723237,1390723181][/DOUBLEPOST]

Seananners left and joined Omnia Media along with TheSyndicateProject earlier this year :)

Ah yeah! I remembered there was 1 other guy, forgot who it was. But I didn't know they joined Omnia Media, never heard of that 1 until now.

Before i even become a uploader on YouTube i herd of Machinima i always thought they where one of the top MCN to be with but since becoming more involved with YouTube i have notice that are not as great as what they seemed which is a shame may be sometime in the future they may be able to get back to the position they where once in

I have been in the network side of YouTube for a while, and have spoken to many people in Machinima, including FPS Russia's former partner, JahovasWitniss, NobodyEpic, TheDeluxe4 etc. Machinima doesn't care about you or your channel, at all. Their contract and payments are ridiculous. The only reason people are in Machinima is because they were basically the first and were well-renowned for gaming. In reality, people want to get out of Machinima. Here are some examples:

Who are you partnered with now?
