Mac: best recording and editing software

I use screenflow if I'm doing a tutorial, but I purely use it as a capture tool only, not as an editing tool.

For editing give iMovie a shot, and as you grow accustomed to it you'll find Final Cut Pro X a much easier transition.

I completely forgot about final cut its expensive but is very professional
