Really? What do you watch? Commentaries?

Commentaries, tutorials etc. I generally tend to only watch videos in my niche, I don't have time to play a lot of games so I generally don't seek out people who play said games. Most of the "famous" YouTubers I've never seen a single video of, nor most likely even know who they are

Fair enough. I think people forget YouTube isnt just for gamers lol, although i think like 90% of the channels these days are lets play channels.
