LOST IN THE CROWD? Tips to get noticed!

Do you want to be the next big thing on YouTube? but you'll have to put in some work if you want to stand out from the crowd.

1). Step out of the gang
First, you should to stop thinking like everybody. If you want to stand out, you’re going to have to do something unique, creative, original, and inspiring. This isn’t easy to do either, as YouTube is filled with millions of ideas every day. Find a niche, train yourself to think differently

2). Be yourself
The only way to truly separate yourself from the crowd is be yourself and utilize your personality. everyone is unique. for example pewdiepie didn't get 25 million subscribers because he plays video games, he got them because he plays video games with a unique personality and approach.

3). Don't Underestimate
Don't underestimate yourself. because success will not come easily. No views! No subscribers! No worries! Just concentrate in doing videos. because YouTube is filled with millions of videos. and it takes some time to get noticed.

4).Use Social media
Social media is the powerful tool to show your work. and use it. find more friends talk to them. tell them to watch (Say No to sub to sub or view to view).


So Ready to get Noticed?
 
Being yourself is key. I know of a lot of Youtubers who try to be someone they are not. Being unique can be tough but if you make videos long enough and not worry about views, it will come.

don't worry steven! keep doing videos. youtube is an ocean. when our size increases we will get noticed. and you are unique ( I saw your videos) keep it up.
 
Albeit well-intentioned, I don't think those tips are enough.

A lot of people are following your steps and don't get anywhere... And point 1 and 2 are contradicting each other. You say people should be themselves, but what happens to the ones who are uncreative uninspiring personalities? They have to adapt characteristics they are not familiar with...

I would say determination is also an important point. It's quite hard to keep on going while the signs are not good (low views, low sub count)

Oh off course, you are unique! Like all the other 7 billion on earth

Thanks for your comments! Step 1 is for content as well as step 2 is for personality. (it may contradict). and creativity will not born with someone. as you said determination is very important (if we give up we lose).

I agree with 1, 2, and 4. 1 and 4 are the most important things I try to do. 4 is easy, 1 is very hard because like you said, there are millions of videos out there that are similar. I don't talk much in my videos, I just try to capture moments in unique ways, so 2 is not very important for me. Each one of these is valid, but depending on your niche some will outweigh the others.
 
Yes, some creators see their channels grow with little effort, because they found a niche, they had the personality, they have the knowledge about online marketing, they had the right connections or they were very lucky. Or all the above.

Others (if they want to) have to fight for their exposures and then other characteristics comes into play. Like persistence and adaptation. And most of them even keeps on going and eventually won't even make it after all the efforts.

I think the best way to deal with it, is to switch focus from growth to the own intrinsic motivation... Make vids because you like to do that, instead of worrying about growth...

I like this quick and simple guide :) I've been trying to think of cool unique ideas latly. Its def hard to think outside of the box though. So far I think like one of my series is actually really original.
