Losing Subscribers

It's YT deleting inactive subs. Unfortunately, I suspect there are bugs where active accounts are removed from your list as well. People have been claiming this since the purge began and I didn't believe that until I found my subscription to 3 YouTubers which I watch often were removed. I subbed them back but still, it's very annoying.

When I checked my Analytics today, I saw this note from YouTube:

"If you notice an abnormal drop in your subscribers on May 25th, this is likely due to a one-time, YouTube-wide subtraction of old closed accounts. These can be seen on the subscribers report for your channel in the "closed accounts" row of the table."

I think it's all part of Youtube now a days.. I loose one or two subs quite often... I've be over 150 by now if i hadn't lost any subs.

The older youtubers will lose more subscribers, since they've been here forever, and likely have more inactive accounts subscribed to them. It's only natural.

my channel has been between 205-208 for the last few days I keep gaining and losing subscribers everyday. Im hoping soon i get out of the 208 zone.
I'm gonna try not to focus on the number of subs, which is hard to do because I want my channel to continue growing. But I know that if I keep putting out good content then the subs will come too.

Hello everyone!
So I wanted to ask all you guys, how often do you lose subscribers? It seems like to me, that I lose quite a few! For example......just today I had 199 subs....it went up to 202 subs..and now it's back to 201......
last week I lost 3 subscribers in a row....so guys...is this normal? Or am I doing something wrong? Please give me your imput and let me know if this has happened to you!

Yeah, it's normal. People have their own personal reasons on why they unsubbed. Don't think that people are unsubbing you just to be dicks.
