Losing subscribers?

Hello all,

I am slowly reaching the 1k subscriber mark, and feel like every subscriber is so precious. But recently, I have lost a few subscribers here and there. Is it some kind of YouTube algorithm thing, where unregistered accounts are automatically removed? Or is it as simple as 'people unsubscribe'. Have any of you, who are also novice YouTubers, experienced this?

Honestly it could be either one of those a lot of youtubers have been talking about the subscriber bug where they've been losing multiple subs at a time randomly but in reality it could be they are just unsubbing. There's not a real way to tell right now I don't think at least.
