Excuse me ive been doing this for 2 years now. and if you want to see my portfolio add me on skype @ BrapherOG

Of course he doesn't; but that is my point. People on here are advertising their services as "professional designers" when they are clearly not - that is my issue. Of course there is a market for cheap and less-than-professional work - most of the others in the industry that I know started that way and I have no issue with people working like that, however the point is that you are not a professional at that level and thus you should not market yourself as such.
If you were a trained professional with graphics you wouldn't be selling your graphics on this site, you would have your own website, and own business. I feel that you're just on here to complain. I would highly recommend you back off, and leaving this site for good if this is your opinion on the Graphic designers on here. Or at the very least, leave the graphics area.

i firmly agree with Migironi. why would you be here if this website is were your not ment to find "Professional Graphics" ? Hmm...

You seem to have missed my point, yet understand it at the same time. Of course no professional designer will be offering their services on here... I have an issue with people claiming to be professionals propagating what is already a problem in the industry. This is not a problem with people's work, this is a problem with what they claim to be and how they set expectations of what a "professional designer" is - expectations that are mostly untrue.

I have done full-price work for someone who initially had graphics done on a forum like this; and his perception of what a "professional" service is was so warped by what people bad said.

BrapherOG has got my point, I don't massively care for arguing with you after this post. I apologise for hurting the feewings of any wannabe "pro" designers on here.

I respect that man. only reason im offering that low of a price for "Professional" work is because i am starting speedart on youtube and need to start off small untill i get a decent amount of subs then ill bump up prices so that i can work for the professional price.
You're joking, $25 is not cheap at all at your level. You are nowhere near 'professional.' I do my banners for $8

Going to college does not make you professional. When you work full-time as a designer, or have a portfolio of the quality needed for full-time pay, then you can consider yourself professional.

Roxel is right - 25 USD is overpriced for what you are doing. 8 USD is more reasonable, but with that I would not expect any kind of client service. A standard flat-rate for a logo is generally between 200 USD and 500 USD for a freelancer. This would include vector files as well as a few options or revisions of the design. If you think about it in terms of time spent, a design such as yours takes (or should take if you are of a professional skill level) under 25 minutes. At a professional rate you should charge no more than 5-8 USD for that work. If you have spent 2 full-time days working on the design, and it is of a calibre that reflects the fact, you can start to charge a representative rate. Do not sit here on your a**e and churn out graphics that take 15 minutes to make but might as well be from a templates and then have the balls to call yourself a professional.

I am personally not a designer as my primary job (though I do do design work) - I work in video, but the same rules apply with motion design for example. Do not claim to be that which you are not, and certainly don't try and rip people off with a professional rate for something that could be accomplished by a 12 year old with a Youtube tutorial.

I wasn't stating that I'm professional, just that I actually have some form of education in design and charge roughly a third of what he does. I agree on just about everything here, if you have no real qualifications you have no reason to charge so much

You don't have to be qualified. In a creative job, qualifications are pretty meaningless compared to portfolio. What I can say is that his portfolio isn't worth that much.
