Looking for some feedback, I am doing something wrong...

I am 2 months into youtube...roughly, 32 subscribers, 2,000 views. I need some feedback on what I am doing wrong. It is mostly a gaming channel...like many many many others, so I recognize I get lost in a SEA of them. I try to keep my videos at a limit of 7 minutes (not to long) I DID however start a series for World of Warcraft so naturally those are much longer.

I comment to all that comment, I ask for people to comment and they rarely do (and I am genuinely wanting comments! So I can get to know viewers and have more fun with them :( ) I "think" I have checked off all the advice I see everywhere with HUGE subscribe call to actions. I fill the tags up, did research on those. And I do know I get more looks from more pop culture games, I understand that will happen. I plan on having more games that are AAA titles in the future. But for now, I am trying to get ideas on what I can do. My first videos I feel sucked hard and learned from those, getting more comfy on camera.

I am doing something/s wrong, I know it, and I need to correct it. I go to where the audience is and only where I am allowed do I post about my channel. Careful to not spam.

Help please![DOUBLEPOST=1426714350,1426714297][/DOUBLEPOST]I am also trying hard to get on a regular schedule, these longer videos are taking time and life also gets in way of edits which throw me off for a schedule. I know that's needed.

Well. Rome wasn't built in a day. Those big channels you were checking out? Some said they had under the double digits for MONTHS. MONTHS! Especially when it comes to a gaming channel. When you're in this niche you need to understand there are thousands upon thousands of channels just like you that other people can choose from plus some of the biggest channels that YouTube has ever seen dominate the top of that list. You're in a very big niche and it's obviously hard to get noticed. It will take time. Sometimes years before any substantial growth happens and that's something you need to be prepared for unless you decide to do something else with YouTube that calls to a vast majority of people that hasn't been done yet. Otherwise... You need to be patient. Also, most of those larger channels you were most likely looking at, really didn't care how many subs they were getting, just that they were having fun with what they were doing.

My advice? Your channel looks good. Perhaps clean up the home page? I know I like to see playlists and featured videos over just the upload list when I visit a channel's page. Aside from that, just enjoy what you're doing and give it time. :)

You're not doing anything wrong, YouTube is simply just overpopulated so it can take a while to start growing. I've been doing videos for a year now and have 13,000 views and 102 subscribers. So my channel hasn't grown much either. That being said the last few months my subscribers have doubled. You've just gotta keep putting videos up, sharing the content etc. I've noticed you haven't got a lot of videos on your channel, the best way to grow is get the videos out there. Just keep chipping away and you should go somewhere with your channel. It may take several months or a couple of years but its worth it right?

Yeah, I agree. Patience is the only key ;)
Work hard but also have fun, and your channel will grow up, step by step. I'm also a fan of the playlists and different sections, because everything is more precise and fans don't get confused. Maybe you can fix this in your homepage :)

Thank you all so much for the input! Yeah, with my work schedule and life in general, THEN add in youtube recording plus editing, I do not get to produce as much as I want to, why I need a schedule, may help bump me to 2 videos at LEAST per week which is woefully low IMO. For growth in this genre anyway :(

I am looking into homepage customization now! I need a channel trailer up also, need to work on that. Thanks so much for the advice gang!!!![DOUBLEPOST=1426808668,1426775149][/DOUBLEPOST]I cleaned up the front page and made a quick channel Trailer! Thanks again so much!!!!
