Looking for Recstudios.tv network address

Hi there all,

we write here to ask help to you finding the address of the "Recstudios.tv" network, since we've had many problems with them (= they don't unlink us, even if we're still in the three months trial) and we're trying to move accordingly.

We can't find their address, so we ask you if there's a way to find it or, in case they don't have a "legal address", how should we (legally) act since Youtube doesn't give any assistance in cases like this.

Yes, we should have never had to join that network, but it was our first experience.

What we know anyway is that they're part of the "illuminata group" (illuminata.tv)

Thank you for your patience :)

I have edited the word scam and scamming from your post and thread title. We are here to help you but labelling a network as a scam without solid proof is libel please post solid proof of this if you wish to use those words. I cannot find their address, are they registered as a company like the other Illuminata MCN's? If so do a company search on the companies database for their country. The only Rec Studios registered as a company I can find in the UK is dissolved.

Hello,
Thank you for your support and feel free to correct any mistake we make like that! :)

About the company, I'm not sure: I've been looking on google (I'm not expert about companies exc, so I'm not sure if there's some more correct sites to use) and the only things I found were these:
scamadviser[dot]com/check-website/filmstudios.tv
scamadviser[dot]com/check-website/ucms.recstudios.tv

In case, would make sense asking them their address? But I would prefer not doing this, anyway...

About the use of the "scammer" word, I'll write a summary of what happened:
we filled the Youtube "apply for partnership" module (oh, naivety! :D) and after some days we receive an email from a @filmstudios.tv account (honeyvirdi) asking us to be part of their "Partner's Program".
After some days and researches (idwe d some on google, but since their network was new, there weren't so many infos about) we decided to apply for the partnership.
On the mail they wrote us (and on the contract) it was written;
"No-lock policy- Initially, a three months trial is given to you to experience our services. If you want to proceed further then you commit for 12 months or you may unlink."
The partnership started January 20th.
Before asking for the unlink through Youtube (before March 6th), we wrote to the support some emails; they tried to convince us to not leave but we answered them that before starting a yearly contract, we wanted to try more experiences, thanking them for the opportunity offered to us.
Then we sent our unlink request via Youtube; they declined it on March 6th.

We immediately sent a new request, asked why they declined it and we started getting very angry, also because looking again on google, we found some "not encouraging" users feedbacks about them.
About the March 8th, we've disabled monetization and wrote them about this, saying them that we wouldn't have re-enabled it again (they answered that they would have let us know about "their decision" (???), to be patient and that we could re-enable monetization).
They declined our request again on March 17th. We again made a new unlink request and kept writing emails; they barely answered.
About two hours ago they answered again saying that the CPM rate is going higher for now and that we can enable monetization again.
We answered again that we're not interested and that we only want to get disconnected.

If you do a whois on the domain it will show you who is the domain registrant for RecStudios.TV:

http://whois.domaintools.com/recstudios.tv

I would assume he is also the owner/CEO although doing a reverse whois does suggest he registers the domains for all of Illuminata's MCNs. You could try getting in touch with him.

Thank you very much!

I ask you a suggestion. You say "get in touch with him", we were going to send a letter through a lawyer...before doing that do you suggest to write him personally (even if it's too much time we're tring to get out from this situation and we're fed up), or to keep going via lawyer?

Thank you again :)

I dont like posting peoples full names myself which is why I linked to the Whois info for the domain.

I would get in touch with him first, let him hear about the situation and what you want to happen etc first giving him a chance to respond and take action where necessary and perhaps let him know your intentions before going ahead. It is certainly a lot better to do things that way as usually most small issues like this can be resolved, it is usually a matter of poor communication between two parties.

Wow, I fear this is their policy...Anyway what we've done till now is to keep disabled monetization.

Somewhere on the net I've read that some people could unlink from some scamming networks by telling them they weren't 18+ and showing them a false\modified identity card to confirm this (even if I think this is not legit).
We'll let you know any news, because we're moving to solve this problem! :)
