Looking For New Hardware

Thats pretty much my max budget, the current laptop i'm using is my dad's and he lets me use it sparingly. I also have my own which isn't that good. And my dad got his laptop used for 100 which is a major good deal. He got it from someone who received it as a gift and put a password on it and forget it so he just sold it for 100 as he didn't know the actual price.
Its not really the full specs just a overview.
The specs are:
Intel® Core™ i7 2630QM Processor
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM
17.3" 16:9 Full HD LED Backlight Keyboard

That's a brilliant laptop, I doubt you will get lucky like that :/

Anyways how much can you build me one that has a nice Intel Processor like the i5 or i3 and my recording, editing, rendering software is optimized for Nvidia Cuda.

The only problem is cause a laptop is portable it cost roughly $200 more for it than the equivelant desktop

Well I guess I'll go for a desktop I already have a keyboard and mouse I have a old monitor but I can pick one up for $50 and how much will the total be?
