The original, diabolical, kkushalbeatzz
Skullcandy SLYR is really nice. The mic might be a little quiet but it's really good for the price. And the headset audio is really really really good for the price.
What you want is flat sound, this applies to your headset and mic. Flat sound is sound that hasn't been modified with extra bass or treble. The more flat you get the more natural the sound is.
My advice is Sennheiser headphones and a blue yeti.
A good Sennheiser headphone will last years and its sound is extremely natural.
The yeti is a flat response mic so whatever you record on it will be much like the original. Clean and clear a perfect balance between base and treble.
The snowball has too much bass to it as does the C01U. Audiotechnia mics tends to have more treble.
The yeti is perfectly balanced between treble and bass but it will cost a bit more.
