Looking for a good microphone

I'm looking for a microphone (maybe even one of them clip on mics). However, I don't want a headset.

I would like to use it for multipurpose things e.g. VOIP and commentaries.

I know about the Blue Snowball iCE (£60), but surely there's gotta be more than just that as an option?

Perhaps maybe a cheaper option?

Thanks

I wouldn't go with a clip on one.. mainly because the ones that plug into a normal 3.5mm jack are terrible quality, if you go on amazon and just type in USB microphone loads come up. Blue, Samson, Behringer and Audio Technica are the big ones a lot of youtube commentators use :)

I've got an Sm57 but that plugs into an XLR port & is mainly used for music. There. That is the extent of my microphone knowledge. Look how useful I am.

MXL 990. Blue Yeti. Audio Technica AT2020. Blue Snowball. Samson C10U. - Theres a few. :p

I know you might think that the Blue Snowball is too much and it might not be the best microphone for the money, but I can assure you that it is! I've gone through countless microphones and this one has beaten them all in my opinion. It will be worth the investment. I am planning to get the Blue Yeti next. :)

Get a blue yeti or blue snowball, cheap yet amazing amazing microphones
already know about them + out of my realistic price range

Those are good options as well, anything from Blue is good in my opinion.
