Long vs. Short Video Descriptions

Good, long, relevant descriptions help a lot with SEO.

My video descriptions are long but it's usually filled with social networks, a description of the series, an extra playlist and subscription link, all filled with SEO words - hopefully.

My description are kind of long. Usually I give a refferal link to Fullscreen, then a link to whatever game/program was in the video. Then my PSN, FB, Twitter, and MoTube. Then the outro song and any links to websites where I got SFX and/or BGM from. Then a whole bunch of related extra tags.

They're longer than you think.

Short and simple is probably the best policy. A lot of people have a fairly short attention span.

my descriptions are long, but not describing the video, i do a short one sentense to describe the video, then the rest is all my social media links, then my second channel link, a description of my channel, "comment like subscribe share".
