I think most people, especially vloggers tend to keep their videos short and try their best not to go past the 4minute mark.
You'd be surprised how much you actually get to say in 2-3 minutes worth of video--minus the "ums" and awkward silences. Something that I notice that a lot of vloggers can cut from their videos are "I'm sorry this video is so long" or "I don't know what I'm going to say" etc. because those actually do take some time to say--and saying them makes audience members go "well, if you have nothing to say, why make a video?"
For that reason I try to be meticulous about my editing--anything that can go without saying is cut for as long as it doesn't disturb the flow of the point I'm trying to get across.
