Do you have the sim card from your backup phone? maybe try that sim card in someone elses phone and then request the code to be sent to it.

You could follow these steps here if you cant do that:

Sadly That phone doesnt have a sim card,
Im a metro pcs user and some of the phones dont have sim cards =(

Just get a google voice number, have that connected to your phone number and you'll always have a backup in case you lose your phone since the code will be sent to both places.

Thanks for the suggestion, last time I looked (years ago) Google Voice wasn't available in Canada.. Either way i'll figure out a way to set that up, thanks for the tip WE!

Ok, so i know i made this post yesterday, but i am still having no luck in trying to get my account back up and running, i actually came across a YouTube/Google support number to call but the service is not good at all, so im trying to see if there are any other options of how i can do an account recovery in getting back into my dead account,

like i mention before, this is a dead account, "thank god" but i still would like to get back into it, would appreciate some more information if it wasnt mention before =)

Google has made things so complicated, i was confused with the email stuff for a while, i put an old email in and trying to change it was a huge pain.

This is actually heart breaking to me because this is my first account ever on YouTube, sad to see it died, but im not active on this account, im not active on it, and my new main channel has more subscribers and channel views than this dead account,
but really wish i can get into the account because i do want to check for recent comments and messages that i still get on that account =/
