So what does everyone this of this now?

4000 Hours and 1000 subs

I guess it will definitely kill a lot of peoples channels as its a huge mountain to climb now.

I don't see how it will kill anyone channel. Below those numbers you're probably making less than $8 a month.

I'm not worried about making money because I haven't ever been paid, but I'm worried that youtube will not try and promote non-monetized content (because currently they will mostly promote things that will make them money). So it will probably make it harder to grow to the new limit.

((Also I'm salty because I'm super close to 1000 sub requirement and probably wouldn't have a problem with the 4000 hour part so it almost didn't affect me lol ))

It just a new way seeing if your worthy enough for YouTube lol. Once we hit these thresholds they review us and we’ll get monetized (according to what Ive read) I don’t wanna look at it as making money anyway, I’m so small that’s the least of my concern right now. ‍
