Livestream?

So my channel has 168 subs.. Lets say 150 are active.
I would love to livestream but i am concerned about no one watching me.
I am a gaming channel.
I was wondering if anyone could estimate how many people would be watching after 30 mins of me live streaming.
I was just seeing if it is worth doing so I don't get an absolute flop.
Thanks

if you're going to livestream gaming i'd recommend doing it on twitch rather than youtube itself, yt's livestreaming is awful for games lol but i'd go for it anyway, chances are people that aren't subbed to you will wander onto it as well and maybe you will get more subs :D

Unless you have a strong fan base people aren't going to tune in to watch your live stream. Most of your subs won't watch. That's just that. You can announce it beforehand, and announce it right before but don't expect a lot of people to tune in (possibly 1-5 viewers). Don't use Youtube's live stream, it sucks. I'd go with Twitch like the other person said. Live stream it on Twitch and upload the live stream to Youtube after you're done so you can get some views... It also gives your subs/viewers a taste of what it's like and maybe they will want to watch it next time.

When I do livestreams I'm basically doing it for myself, haha. It's okay though because I'm having fun regardless.

I DO live stream on Twitch but that's what I started with. I built up probably 100 to 150 concurrent viewers on Twitch before doing YouTube stuff. I've found that people that find me organically, on YouTube, typically do not watch the live stream. I don't think live streaming and expecting to get people from your YouTube subs is a realistic expectation until you have a "brand" and a very large fan base. A lot of people that watch YouTube videos really take advantage of being able to do it wherever, whenever, like when they get off of work. Live streaming you have to sit down and be there during the correct time frame and such.

Having said that, it's not hard to get a Live stream on Twitch going and get some viewers into your channel. The competition is stiff these days though and you need to have a professional looking, entertaining and /or niche channel. The reverse is not the same. Twitch viewers that become YOUR viewers are typically very loyal and will watch anything you put on YouTube. So doing it in reverse of what you're asking is a better idea.

With your amount of subs, I'd say Lili is correct. You're looking at a few, maybe into the teens, viewers from your subs. It won't be regular either.
