Frisky Brisket
I've Got It
Hey my dudes!
So check this out. I do gaming live streams, and there's something that I've been noticing while getting ready to start a scheduled stream. When I go to YouTube, and then the page for the live stream event, after a short time I will see text on the page below the video that says something like: "1 Waiting".
I thought it meant that one of my viewers, or subscribers, was waiting for my live stream to start which.....you know.....always brings joy and happiness to my heart, but then I realized what it might be is YouTube registering me as one of the waiting viewers. This would mean that no one was really waiting to watch my awesome stream. Sadness.
.
.....but now I'm not really sure. Does anyone know if this "1 waiting" view is me or someone really interested in watching the stream. Also, while the stream is going I see "1 Viewer". I thought this might be me as well, but sometimes I see no text which indicates that no one is really watching at that time.
I've started collaboratin' with another awesome YTtalk member who said not to worry about this because the view count while the stream is running isn't really accurate and that instead I should look at the view count after the stream has ended and the video has been uploaded to my channel.
He's totally right too because the number of viewers that I noticed in the stream is less than the count of views after the video upload to my channel completes, but it's been bugging me because I don't know the answer. I want to know if there's a huge fan that watches all my awesome streams or is it that I'm my biggest fan. Lol.
I've web searched this but can't find an answer.
Do any of you guys know?
Later my cool dudes!
