Hey guys I upload a lot of live commentating and was wondering if I should talk about a main subject just like doing a regular commentary but live. I feel like I didn't explain that very well but whatever

Eh it matters. Maybe try to do both of them? Just keep a good equilibrium.

before you record maybe write down a few bullet points. live commentary does add a sense of genuinity to a commentary but a big problem is you're only going to be able to game maybe at half capacity as you're busy talking instead of thinking. it also works better for singleplayer games over mobas and fps games but that's not to say you can't do that. btw i suck at it. i just do it because people say it's better than nothign hehe.

Although all the cod channels talk about irrelevant junk, to fall under fair use your commentary is meant to be directly related to the video content.
