Let's face it, editing is the least fun part of making videos. I find what helps is putting on iTunes at about half volume and let it play as you edit. It makes the time go by a lot quicker!

That's why I said you put the volume at about halfway. So you can still hear what you're editing, but you also have music on in the background.

Maybe if you had a big production, you would need to. But if all you're doing is talking in front of a camera or video game walkthroughs you don't really need to pay too much attention to background noise.

I can't listen to music as I edit because I'm editing music videos, but I do listen to Dr. Phil and other shows while I edit.

I just leave the room while it is processing, and go watch tv.

I do like to listen to music. Attack Attack! is pretty good at halfway for editing for some reason. It's my concentration music haha
