Linking Social Media to your YouTube Channel - How do you feel about it?

I'm super curious to see peoples opinions on this. I just got off my twitter feed and saw those notifications on it like "So and so uploaded a video" or "So and so added a video to a playlist" and I was wondering, how do you feel about seeing those/using the Social Media linking YouTube offers?

Personally, I really don't like them. When I see that auto form notification on my feed in my head I'm just like Oh, so you couldn't just go to the video and click share so you can personalize the message? It also spams a ton if you are adding a ton of videos to a playlist, which I also don't care for. Imo I think it just takes the personable side of YouTubing from the experience if you're not sharing stuff yourself, but I also see the benefits to using it to streamline sharing your content. I personally wouldn't use it though.

I turn those off, but YouTube has an auto-tweet system when scheduling that allows you to tweet the link with a personalized message, its just scheduled to coincide with the video. See here:

I've just started experimenting with it. It doesn't look that appealing when you post a video online with an automated message. I would love to find out how you can a more personalized message

Yeah - if you could have the automated tweet with a personal message, that would be awesome. I have to tinker with the settings and see how to get it to work.

I just click on the "Share" link and personalize that, but I only upload a couple of times a week. I will admit I get very flattered when I see someone who has their accounts linked and they "like" one of my videos.
