Liking Your Videos

just don't give em two, cause THAT would be ego-centrical ;)

Okay I have to admit it. I have an old Youtube channel and I use to use that channel to like my videos and then on my main channel I would like the same video so I have 2 likes and feel cool....LOL.

lmao, I wasn't thinking about how that was possible with 2 channels... I have to say that legit is kinda over kill LOL but when we're just getting started we do some crazy things don't we?

Haha yeah. But I promise that I don't do that anymore >___< lol. I feel so accomplished now because I don't have to like my own videos, hahaha. Hoooorrraayyy!!

I have honestly only clicked the like button on one of my videos one time. And it was an accident. I was drinking pretty heavily, and started watching my own channel, one of my vlogs I hadn't seen in a while made me laugh my a** off, at the end of it I was literally just acting as if this wasn't my video I was like "hahahaha that was AWESOME!! LIKED!" And then I stepped away for a minute and was like "dude... that was your video" LOL

explain. So you're not supposed to like what you do? So letting people know you approve of your own work means you have a god complex now? Explain please, I find this statement of little merit :)

It would make you have that inflated sense of self-worth doing that as it is like "I made this fantastic video and I am going to thumbs up it because it makes me feel good!". What happened to letting others than oneself up-rate their own videos? :/

No it doesn't LOL, your opinion of your videos stays the same whether you click that button or not. clicking the button just shows you're not ashamed to let others know you're proud of your work, but click it or not, you're still gonna be just as ashamed/proud of your work regardless. Either way it's just a way to show you have faith in what you do and to give the video a boost. I think you're over thinking this personally :)

Yes I like my own videos for the reasons stated by others. To reappear in your feed so your subs can see it if they missed it.

I just don't want to be seen as narcissistic doing that.
Yes this is the fear I had. But Ive realized, someone would have to be pretty stupid to see you as narcissistic for doing it, so they'd have to be a cynical "hater type" and if there's anything Ive learned from youtubing, those types of people are everywhere, and their opinions amount to ZERO
