Liking My Own Videos?

I didn't want to say this at first, but this thread is really sad to read, if you aren't getting likes on your videos; instead of liking them yourself, improve them so real people will like them. That's the reason they are there, for feedback.

I agree with Doom here, it's extremely egotistical and shows that you aren't doing this for fun at all, but for profit.
 
Yeah I see Ninja. I am not in it for the money at all. I just want to see my channel do well as everyone else in the youtube world wants to. Thanks everyone for the advice.
 
if you want to spend your time doing that, well then go ahead and do it... I have a hard enough time finding time to make and edit my videos and get them up.... let alone logging into 5 other usernames to promote it.... it's summer you guys, go party

No it is not OK, yes you are a fraud and a fake and no I don't care what you have to offer. Do it on the straight and narrow or expect to be lying for the rest of your life if your channel ever goes somewhere. I can legitimately say it was by my hard work.

Right now you have a choice. Do or do not. I would opt for "do not" and YouTube on. Everyone starts out slow, time will tell where you end up. If you still want to go trough with it go right ahead. Just take the beginning of my reply to heart.
 
Personally I wouldn't like it from myself, but you could ask friends and family to have a look and like it.
 
In my personal opinion I think its a bad move, although it may seem like your helping boost and what not it really isnt going to make much of a difference in my opinion because of the way YouTube works. 5 likes coming from 5 different accounts, alright, but when 5 likes from 5 different accounts on the SAME IP shows up then well yeah YouTube know lol. Also don't go so low as to like your own stuff with multiple accounts or whatever its going to get you nowhere. Just promote clean, keep uploading, be consistent and have fun doing it.
