Likelihood of copyright strike for cover songs?

I have a related question so i though i'd just post here..............

So if i create a new channel,
Put videos , but not monetize them, then wait for me to become big on Youtube
Then Join Fullscreen?
And then Monetize the videos?

Has anyone ever been copy-striked for making a cover? Like ever?

It doesn't matter if you create your instrumentals, the lyrics and music are copyrighted.
You will get trouble if you make a cover song video and try to make money from it (monetize)

If you DO NOT monetize, there is a chance you will get notified that you don't own the copyright but because you don't make money of of it, the probability of it leading to a strike is very small.

just don't monetize untill you are with a network that grants you the rights to do that

You are wrong, YouTube now allows you to monetize cover songs because they have deals with music publishers they signed this past June. They have a monetize this cover option.
